Downtown Redding PA&ED Phase
Downtown Redding PA&ED Phase
During this phase, Caltrans will be completing the environmental and preliminary engineering studies. The team will be evaluating and documenting the environmental effects of the project and will implement practices to minimize impacts, where feasible. The team will also produce the project report needed to move forward to the design phase. Once initial findings are complete, Caltrans will hold a public meeting to collect input from the community.
Overview:
Caltrans is revitalizing downtown Redding by improving accessibility and ease of travel for bicycles and pedestrians and restoring pavement, culverts and traffic management systems. Public engagement, as part of this phase, is important to ensure the community is informed of and can give input on the planned improvements to the downtown Redding area. As part of this phase, we will be creating a public engagement plan to ensure continuous communication with the community and our partners. Click the above tabs for ways you can engage.
