Managed Lanes Guidelines
Caltrans seeks public comment on the Draft Managed Lane Guidelines, The Managed Lane Guidelines are being prepared in accordance with Caltrans Deputy Directive 43-R2 on Managed Lane Facilities. These guidelines will replace the existing 2020 High Occupancy Vehicle Guidelines. These guidelines will provide uniform statewide guidance on project planning, project development, operations, design, and enforcement of managed lanes on the State Highway System.

Please review the draft Draft Managed Lane System Plan Guidelines located in the right sidebar. Each chapter of the Managed Lanes Guidelines has a separate section to provide comments. Please include a page number of the document for every comment.
