Overview

Plan Description:

What Is A Corridor Management Plan?

The State Route (SR) 36 Corridor Management Plan serves as a guide for long range planning of route improvements. It protects the State’s investment in SR 36, while recognizing financial and environmental limits on state resources.  The long-range vision for SR 36 reflects its role as a minor arterial roadway. The region is expected to show low growth, with SR 36 continuing to serve low traffic volumes.

Planning Area

The Planning area is SR 36 between US 101 and the Humboldt-Trinity County line. From Trinity County to the eastern limits of SR 36 in Susanville, the rest of SR 36 lies in Caltrans District 2.
